About the Founder
Gloria Williamson, Founder, Innovator & Visionary
Seven Symbols of Kwanzaa was founded in 2019 by a mother who wanted to ensure her children—and families everywhere—could celebrate Kwanzaa with meaning, beauty, and ease. Gloria began designing her own Kwanzaa essentials after noticing what was missing during her first celebration. As a mother, maker, and cultural advocate, what began as a personal mission to pass down the values of unity, purpose, and creativity quickly blossomed into a heartfelt business. Every item is thoughtfully curated or handcrafted to honor the spirit of Kwanzaa and the legacy of African heritage—making it easier for others to celebrate the Seven Principles with intention, year after year.
